Man held by PSNI over dissident terror activity in Antrim

DETECTIVES have released man they were questioning as part of an investigation into dissident republican activity.

The 27-year-old was detained in Toomebridge on Thursday morning during a planned arrest and search operation by officers from the PSNI’s Serious Crime Branch.

A PSNI spokesman said he has been taken to Antrim Serious Crime Suite for questioning.

Following several hours in custody, the suspect was released without charge
