AN 84-year-old woman has been treated in hospital after she was mugged in north Belfast.
The elderly victim was walking with a friend in the Somerton Road area, close to the NI Hospice, at 2.30pm on Sunday when she was pushed from behind.
The attacker stole the woman’s purse and bag.
She suffered a broken arm as well as cuts and bruising during the robbery, and was treated in the Royal Victoria Hospital.
