The five star Culloden Hotel and Spa gets a £1 million makeover

HASTINGS Hotels have unveiled a host of refurbishments at their flagship property, The Culloden Estate & Spa.

It follows £1,000,000 investment in the hotel on the outskirts of Belfast, on the road between Holywood and Bangor in Co Down.

The hotel stands in 12 acres of beautiful secluded gardens and woodlands was once the official palace for the Bishops of Down and it is from this piece of history they drew inspiration for the NEW Crozier Lounge.

The £1m investment has allowed for a number of refurbishments to have taken place throughout the property.

This includes upgrades to the kitchen, banqueting suites and the Spa.

All rooms and suites have also been kitted out with their NEW luxurious ‘Cloud Beds’ and significant landscaping has taken place to create the hotel’s very own Herb Garden.

The Crozier Lounge, named after the last Bishop to leave the Culloden when it was a former Bishop’s palace provides a relaxed space for guests to enjoy food and drink throughout the day.

A new menu has been put together featuring teas, coffees, wines, cocktails and a selection of tempting dishes.

There is also an extensive Gin Menu with around 14 different types from around the world and NEW signature ‘Hendrick’s Gin Afternoon Tea’.
