Police delcare nothing suspicious in security alert in south Belfast

POLICE have reopened roads in Belfast city centre following a security alert.

An object found at an alleyway on Kensington Street near Sandy Row sparked the alert on Wednesday morning.

Police and army bomb experts attended and have declared the object as “not suspicious”.

A number of streets in the area which were closed have since now reopened.
