Man to appear at Craigavon Magistrates Court charged with child sex assault and abduction

A MAN known to police has been charged with abducting and sexually assaulting a child under the age of 13.

The 42-year-old has also been charged with breaching a sexual offences prevention order.

The charges relate to an incident in Albert Street, Lurgan, County Armagh on Tuesday.

Police said the man is due to appear at Craigavon Magistrates Court on Friday.
