A BELFAST based pharmaceutical consultancy company is creating 30 new jobs.

Pharmalink Consulting Operations is expanding its Northern Ireland office which was set up last year.

The company provides consultancy and regulatory affairs services for a range of health care industries.

It currently employs nine people at its Belfast and the 30 new jobs will be created over the next three years.

The positions will be targeted at Life Sciences graduates from Northern Ireland universities, which attracted the company to Belfast.

Lisa Toner, Regulatory Affairs Manager at Pharmalink, Belfast office said: “Since establishing our Belfast base last year, our experience of recruiting and working with local graduates has been extremely positive.

“We hope to continue to build a strong team in Belfast to support our growing global client projects.”

Pharmalink Consulting Operations will receive £90,000 from Invest NI to support the roles.

Enterprise Minister Arlene Foster said: “This international business has achieved steady growth in recent years.

“The expansion in Belfast signals Pharmalink’s confidence in the availability of a high-quality skilled workforce here in Northern Ireland.”
