Police release dissident republican suspect following his arrest in west Belfast

DETECTIVES have released a man who was arrested for questioning over dissident republican activity.

The 18-year-old was detained in west Belfast on Wednesday during a pre-planned operation.

He was questioned at the serious crime suite in Antrim by officers from the PSNI’s Serious Crime Branch.

Police said he has now been released from custody unconditionally.
