Union flag protestors gather at Belfast City Hall

A 65-year-old man has been arrested in relation to protests over the removal of the Union flag over Belfast City Hall.

Police said the man was arrested in south Belfast on Saturday by detectives from the PSNI’s Operation Dulcet team on suspicion of offences relating to the protests.

He has been released on bail pending further inquiries.
