Man due in court in Derry over attempted burglary

A MAN is due to appear at Londonderry Magistrates’ Court on Thursday morning in connection with an attempted robbery in the city.

He is also accused of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.

The charges relate to an incident on Strand Road on Tuesday.
