Police probe Belfast city centre robbery by man wearing pink pillowcase as a mask

DETECTIVES are hunting a man who covered his face with a pillowcase during a robbery in Belfast city centre.

The man demanded cash during the theft at a shop in Belfast’s Cromac Street area at around 5.30pm on Monday.

He made off on a red bicycle with the money and alcohol.

A PSNI spokesman said the thief had covered his face with a pink pillowcase.

He is thought to be in his mid 20s, of average build and about 5’9″ tall.

The man was wearing a fluorescent green hooded top with an Adidas logo, charcoal jogging bottoms and dark trainers.
