Detectives question man fatal stabbing in Ballycastle

MURDERSQUAD detectives are continuing to question man over a fatal stabbing in a seaside town.

Victim Kevin O’Neill died at a house in the Stroanshesk Park area of Ballycastle, Co Antrim town on Sunday.

The 25-year-old was sustained a stab wound during the attack.

A 28-year-old man was later arrested by the PSNI’s Major Investigation Team and remains in police custody.

Police have appealed for anyone who contacted Mr O’Neill between Saturday and Sunday to contact them.
