Detectives question man over teenager’s stabbing in Magherafelt

DETECTIVES are investigating after a teenager was stabbed in Co Derry.

The 17-year-old was attacked in the Rainey Street area of Magherafelt in the early hours of Saturday morning.

He is being treated in hospital but his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Police have arrested a 22-year-old man in connection with the stabbing.
