Police charge youth over Lurgan burglary

POLICE arrested a 12 year old male for burglary yesterday.

The incident happened at the Centre Point in Lurgan, Co Armagh.

The PSNI said the youth tried to force open the safe and after being alerted by staff was arrested by police.

The schoolboy has since been charged to appear in court on May 14 for the offence of burglary with intent to steal and criminal damage.
