A 47-year-old man arrested in west Belfast over dissident republican activity

DETECTIVES have arrested a man in Belfast over dissident republican activity.

Officers from the PSNI’s Serious Crime Branch arrested the 47-year-old in the west Belfast area on Monday morning.

It is part of an ongoing investigation into dissident republican activity in the west of the city in recent months.

A PSNI spokeswoman said the suspect had been taken to the serious crime suite in Antrim for questioning.
