Leah McFall hopes to win over The Voice judges this Saturday

A NEWTOWNABBEY girl is hoping to catch the ear of the judges this Saturday when she takes to the stage of the BBC1 talent show, The Voice.

Leah McFall, from Glengormley, sings in the blind auditions on Saturday, April 13, in her bid to impress judges Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am, Jessie J and Danny O’Donnoghue and make one of their teams to compete in the live finals of the show.

Leah’s sensational vocal range has already made her a YouTube hit, with her cover versions of John Legend’s Ordinary People and Justin Timberlake’s Suit and Tie having attracted more than 100,000 hits between them.

The former Antrim Grammar School pupil, who now lives in London, regularly sings at Glenabbey Church when she’s back home visiting family and friends in Glengormley.

See how Leah gets on in front of the judges when episode three of The Voice airs on BBC1 on Saturday at 6.45pm.
