The PSNI lealfet on how to keep homes secure and burglars out

POLICE have warned householders to lock up before they leave to prevent easy access to burglars.

It follows three burglaries reported this week in Cairo Street, Stranmillis Street and Carmel Street.

PSNI Laganbank said: “Entry was forced at the rear in all three.

“Please secure rear gates, doors and windows and report any suspicious activity to us, we want to catch these burglars.”

The PSNI has also produced a fact file on handy tips to home owners to keep their homes secure and keep burglars out.
