BELFAST Zoo will re-open on Friday, April 5 following the recent snow storms.
It will open at 10am to 7pm with last admission at 5pm. The Animal houses and the Zoovenir shop close at 6pm.
The zoo first closed on Friday, March 22, due to the impact of severe weather conditions which caused significant damage to the zoo`s facilities.
Since then, the zoo team, other teams from Belfast City Council and a range of external contractors have been working tirelessly to return the site to normal conditions and opening hours.
This has included removing numerous fallen trees, enclosure repairs, clearing roads and pathways of snow and making the site both accessible and safe for the animals and visitors.
Easter Monday and Easter Tuesday are the two biggest days of the year for the Zoo for numbers coming to visit.
