Police probe BMW car thefts in east Belfast burglary

DETECTIVES are hunting thieves who stole two top of the range cars in a creeper burglary in east Belfast.

Thieves forced their way into a house at Willowbank Drive in the Castlereagh area through a rear window sometime between Sunday evening and Monday at 7.20am.

They stole a designer Mulberry purse and keys to the two vehicles – a black BMW 520 and a grey BMW 318D – before making off in them.

Anyone who noticed suspicious activity in the area or who knows the whereabouts of the cars is asked to contact Castlereagh police on 0845 600 8000.
