Police believe Co Fermanagh house fire was accidental

POLICE are invesitgating after a 54-year-old woman died in a house fire in County Fermanagh.

The fire service were called to a bungalow on the Kinawley to Killesher Road just after 11:30 am on Sunday.

It is understood that initial investigations indicate the fire started accidentally.

Sinn Fein councillor Barry Doherty expressed sadness at the death. “My thoughts and the whole communities thoughts are with them,” he said.

“The family whom I know, are very well thought of and respected in Kinawley and I hope they take some comfort from the support of their friends and community as they attempt to come to terms with the tragedy that has come their way.”
