NIE engineers working to restore power to homes in Bangor

NORTHERN Ireland Electricity has said that 1,500 customers are without power in Bangor, County Down on Wednesday evening.

NIE said properties in the centre of the town had been affected, including Abbey Street, Dufferin Avenue, Southwell Road, and Windsor Avenue.

A NIE spokesman said engineers were working to restore power to the homes.
