Police hunt robbers who stole car at gunpoint in east Belfast

THREE masked men have threatened a motorist with a handgun in east Belfast before stealing his car, mobile phone and money.

The victim was sitting in his black Suzuki Alto car when it was hijacked at Dundonald’s Campsie Park on Wednesday shortly after 2pm.

He was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

The car was recovered a short time later in the Rockfield, Greengraves Road area.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident to contact officers on 0845 600 8000.
