Detectives probe Bangor burglary

DETECTIVES in Bangor investigating a burglary have appealed for public help.

The break-in happened in the Lisnabreen area of Bangor on Thursday afternoon, Feb 28.

Police say that around 4:20pm thieves entered the premises and made a search of a number of rooms before making off with a sum of money.

The victims started their own initial investigation and recovered CCTV images which they handed over to the PSNI.

Detectives are currently examing the CCTV for any clues to the burglars.

Officers are particularly keen to hear from anyone who noticed any unusual activity in the area or who has any information on the movements of a dark coloured hatchback type car.
