Police arrest man and seize gun in Coleraine

FORENSIC tests are to be carried out after a suspected firearm was found Co Derry.

Army technical officers were tasked to the scene in the Anderson Park area of Coleraine.

During a police operation, a 19-year-old man was arrested and taken into custody for questioning.

Union Street, Railway Road and Brook Street have been closed to traffic. Diversions are in place.
