Police arrest 17-year-old in Newtownabbey for riotous assembly

DETECTIVES from ‘Operation Dulcet’ investigating Union flag protests have arrested a teenager in Co Antrim.

The 17-year-old was in the Newtownabbey area on Tuesday morning on suspicion of riotous assembly in relation to serious disorder on Friday, January 11 this year.

He is currently in custody being questioned after he was allegedly identified from CCTV images.
