Professor Peter Gregson to leave Queen’s in summer

THE vice-chancellor of Queen’s University of Belfas Sir Peter Gregson is to leave his post in the summer to take up a new post at Cranfield University in Bedford.

Mr Gregson took up the post of vice chancellor of Queen’s in 2004.

During this time the university entered the Russell Group of leading UK universities in 2006.

Professor Gregson was awarded a knighthood for services to higher education in 2011.

He will take up his new post at Cranfied University on August 1.
