Polish man appears at Belfast Magistrates Court on rape charge

A POLISH man has been remanded in custody charged with raping a woman in Belfast.

Lukasz Artur Kubik, 29, is alleged to have carried out the sexual assault at an undisclosed location in the city on January 31

Kubik, with an address at Tower Street, Belfast, was refused bail at the city’s Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

He will appear in court again by video link on Friday, March 15.
