Det Sup Sean Wright warned last week of more arrests over Union flag protests

A 48-year-old man was charged on Monday night by detectives vestigating disorder linked to ongoing flag protests.

The man was detained by officers as part of Operation Dulcet, which is investigating incidents linked to protests across Northern Ireland.

The investigation is being led by Detective Supt Sean Wright who is supported by a team of 70 staff.

The suspect was being held in Musgrave Street PSNI station.

On Monday night, he was charged with three counts of driving without insurance and two counts of obstructing the road.

A car has also been seized by police.
