A SUSPECT is being questioned on Tuesday after a 64-year-old man was knifed to death in Ballymena, County Antrim.
A 59-year-old woman has been taken to hospital suffering from stab wounds following the incident at a house in the Carnvale area off the Carniny Road on Monday night.
Her condition is described as serious.
A 26-year-old man has been arrested by detectives from the PSNI’s Major Investigation Team on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
Police said the investigation was ongoing.
