The PSNI are advising motoristsĀ to exercise caution on the roads this morning due to a blanket of frost.

The warning was sounded after a school bus carrying 28 childrenĀ  left the road in icy conditions in Co Derry/Londonderry.

There are no reports of any injuries in the accident which happened on the Knockadoo Road near Moneymore on Wednesday morning.

It is understood the children were from Lissan and Churchtown primary schools and Cookstown High School.
