MURDERSQUAD detectives have released a man on Tuesday evening they had been quizzing over the murder of drug dealer Danny McKay.
The 25-year-old man was arrested in Antrim on Tuesday morning by detectives from the PSNI’s Major Investigation Team.
Mr McKay was shot several times as he sat alone on a sofa in the living room of his Longlands Road home in Newtownabbey. He died at the scene.
Up to four men – including two gunmen – were involved in the attack on the 36-year-old father of one.
A number of people have been arrested since the murder last month but all have been released without charge.
