Police hunt hand bag thief in east Belfast
POLICE are investigating a handbag snatch in east Belfast which left a woman in shock.
The victim, who is in her 30s, was in the Cregagh Road area at around 8.30pm on Sunday when her handbag was taken by a masked man.
The bag was discovered a short time later in the Downshire Park area and cash had been taken out of the bag.
Police say the the robber is described as being 5’9″ tall, of stocky build, and was wearing black trousers, black raincoat and a black balaclava.
