Police arrest burglars in Castlereagh area

POLICE at Castlereagh have thanked the local community for their support and help over the past week relating to burglaries.

The burglars entered properties in the early hours of the morning and in one instance, stole several items of property, which also included two vehicles.

Following information provided by local people, a number of arrests were made.

“PSNI Castlereagh are grateful to the members of the community, who took the time to contact us and report suspicious activity,” said the police

“This vital information was immediately acted upon and was instrumental in the police’s ability to apprehend and detain the individuals involved.

“We would urge any member of the public who sees any suspicious activity or hears anything to contact us immediately.”
