BREAKING NEWS…POLICE SEEK HELP OVER ATTEMPTED TAXI HIJACKING SOUTH BELFAST

DETECTIVES at Musgrave Street PSNI station are probing an attempted taxi hijacking in Ulsterville Avenue area, south Belfast in early hours of this morning.

The driver had just picked up two men at Elmwood Avenue in the early hours of Sunday morning, when one of them said he had a weapon.

He then ordered the driver to get out of his vehicle at Ulsterville Avenue, where another car pulled up beside him.

No one was injured during the incident and the taxi was not taken.
