Police are investigating a pipe bomb attack on a PSNI patrol in west Belfast

HOMES have been evacuated this morning in west Belfast over a bomb alert.

The PSNI say police are investigating a pipe bomb attack on police vehicle in Glenwood view area Poleglass.

Army technical officers have been asked to attend the scene and a number of homes in the area have been evacatuated.
