THREE males remain in custody after a man in his 20s was stabbed in south Belfast in what police are treating as an attempted murder.
The incident happened in the Hatfield Street area at about 7.45 am on Saturday morning.
The victim is being treated in hospital for his injuries, which are not thought to be life-threatening.
Three men in their 20s have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
PSNI Detective Sergeant Moffett said: “They are currently in custody, helping with our enquiries.
“We are appealing for anyone with information to contact police on the non-emergency number 101.
“Alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
