DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Terrorist Investigation Unit have arrested a man as part of an investigation into dissident republican activities.

The 36-year-old was arrested in Newry, Co Down, this morning, Sunday, October 18.

A property was also searched.

The suspect has been taken to the serious crime suite at Musgrave police station for questioning.

A 35-year-old man arrested in west Belfast on Saturday has been released unconditionally.

Three other men, aged 39, 40 and 47 remain in custody.
