DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Terrorist Investigation Unit have arrested two men over violent dissident republican activity.
The men – aged 39 and 40 – were detained in west Belfast and the south Down area this morning, Friday, October 16.
They were arrested under section 41 of the Terrorism Act 2000 and taken to the serious crime suite at Musgrave PSNI station.
Two properties were also searched as part of the ongoing TIU investigation.
