The scene this evening in the Ardoyne area of North Belfast
POLICE have closed the Ardoyne Road in north Belfast between Crumlin Rd and Alliance Avenue due to a security alert.
It follows the discovery of a suspicious object.
Army Technical Officers from Palace Barracks in Holywood, Co Down have been tasked to the scene near the Ardoyne shop fronts.
