DETECTIVES are investigating after a taxi driver was hijacked in west Belfast this morning.
He had collected three men during the early hours when the incident occurred.
One of them threatened the driver as they were travelling along the Falls Road around 5.45 am.
Police say they forced him out of the car. The driver was left badly shaken but not injured.
The purple coloured Skoda taxi was later found abandoned at Durham Street.
Detectives in west Belfast have appealed for anyone who witnessed the incident to get in touch with officers via the 101 non-emergency number.
