MAN ARRESTED AFTER DRUGS SEIZED IN WEST BELFAST HOUSE SEARCH

POLICE have seized a quantity of suspected Class B and Class C drugs worth an estimated £3,000, along with a number of other items.

A 28 year old male was arrested on suspicion of a number of offences, following a search of a residential property in the Whiterock area of West Belfast this morning.

Sergeant Rogan said, “This latest seizure removes incredibly harmful drugs from the community.

“The local Neighbourhood Policing Team is determined to continue to conducting searches to disrupt and prevent the flow of drugs to the streets and put those involved in the illegal drugs trade before the courts.

“I would encourage anyone with information about the supply of illegal drugs to get in touch with police on 101.”

“Alternatively, information can be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
