POLICE search for a device have closed a road in west Belfast today.

The PSNI say Upper Dunmurry Lane has been closed between the junctions of Corrina Park and Creightons Road/Old Golf Course Road and the junction at The Park.

There are no further details at this stage.

On Saturday, the Old Golf Course Road was shut for 24 hours after police received a report that a device had been  left in the area.

The road closure caused major disruption to traffic but the cordon was lifted on Sunday after police said nothing untoward was found after extensive searches.
