DETECTIVES have launched an investigation into the death of a man in in Belfast city centre.

He is believed to be in his 50s.

The man’s body was found in Union Street just before 5.50 pm this evening, Thursday, July 30.

Police said they were investigating the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.

There are no further details at this stage.

A post mortem examination is to be carried out to determine how he died.
