TODDLER BOY INJURED BY GLASS SHARDS IN HOUSE ATTACK

PSNIDETECTIVES are investigating after a 15-month-old boy was injured by glass fragments after a brick was thrown through the window of a house.

The attack happened at Moat Road in Ballymena last night at around 11..30 pm.

Later around 1 am, a petrol bomb was thrown at the house while the window was being repaired by workmen.

It exploded close to the door, but the flames were extinguished.

No one was hurt during the second incident.

Detectives in Ballymena have appealed for anyone with information about the attacks to contact them on the 101 non-emergency number.
