POLICE in South Down are becoming increasingly concerned about the whereabouts of a lady who has gone missing.

The 68 year old woman left her home in the Ballymartin area during the night (14 January) and has not been seen since.

The female is considered vulnerable and has restricted mobility due to recent surgery.

She is described as being 5ft 6in tall, of slim build with short, light brown hair which has fair highlights.

It is believed she is wearing a purple windproof jacket, a woollen hat and tracksuit leggings.

Sergeant Kelly Anne Warnock said: “if you have seen a female matching this description or have any information in relation to her whereabouts, please contact us in Kilkeel on 101.”
