POLICE have revealed that officers made 28 arrests made in south and east Belfast on Saturday/Sunday.
Twelve of these arrests were for assault-related offences such as Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm and Common Assault.
Six of the arrests were related to car crime and road safety aspects such as driving with excess alcohol, attempted theft of a vehicle and criminal damage to a vehicle.
An 18 year old male was arrested on suspicion of aggravated urglary, possession of a Class B drug and possession of an offensive weapon.
A 45 year old male was also arrested on suspicion of threats to kill, common assault and possession of an offensive weapon.
