Man to face Lisburn Magistrates’ Court charged with cocaine dealing

A 41 year old man is to appear at Lisburn Magistrates’ Court this morning charged with possession of a class A drug and possession of a class A drug with intent to supply.

As is normal procedure, all charges are reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

Detective Inspector Alan Pyper from PSNI’s Organised Crime Branch said: “The charges follow the stop and search of a car in the Oldpark Road area of Lisburn on the afternoon of Saturday 20 September.

“Approximately £25,000 worth of suspected cocaine has been seized.

“The man has also been reported to the PPS for possession of a class B controlled drug and possessing items that breach a registered trademark.”
