TWO ARRESTED AFTER SHOPS AND CARS DAMAGED

PSNIPOLICE have arrested two males following a number of incidents of criminal damage.

It happened in the Bangor town centre area in the early hours of this morning.

Inspector Gary Busch explained: “Police received reports of incidents of criminal damage at a number of commercial premises in the town centre area in the early hours of Tuesday September 16th, during which windows were smashed.

“Damage was caused to a number of vehicles in the area also.

“Police responding to the reports arrested two males, aged 20 and 22, who are currently in custody assisting police with their enquiries.

“These arrests illustrate our commitment to tackling crime in this area.

“I would encourage anyone with any further information to contact police in Bangor on the non-emergency number 101. Alternatively, information can be passed to the Crimestoppers charity anonymously by telephoning 0800 555 111.”
