DETECTIVES are investigating after a man in his 20s was shot in the legs in west Belfast.
Police believe the so-called punishment shooting was carried out by dissident group Oglaigh na hEireann
The attack happened in an alleyway off Shaws Road at around 8pm on Saturday evening.
The victim was treated in Royal Victoria Hospital for injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening.
Detectives at Woodbourne CID have appealed for anyone with information about the shooting to contact them on the 101 non-emergency number.
