Police at Woodbourne station appeal for information about missing Eimear Symington

THE PSNI say officers are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing woman who hasn’t been seen in over a week.

Eimear Symington, 27, was reported missing from the Grosvenor Road area of West Belfast at approximately 8.15 am on Tuesday 19 August.

West Belfast Response T/Inspector, Roy Burnside, has appealed for information in tracing her whereabouts.

“Eimear is described as being approximately 5’6″ tall, with brown hair that was tied in a ponytail when she went missing. At the time she was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and white trainers,” said T/Inspector Burnside..

“It is believed that Eimear may have been seen in the city centre area on Friday 22 August.

“I would ask Eimear, or anyone who knows of her whereabouts, to contact Woodbourne Police Station on the non emergency number 101 to let us know that she is safe and well.”
