POLICE have uncovered a cannabis factory in north Belfast.

It followed a search of residential premises in the Carlow Street area of north Belfast yesterday evening, Sunday, 10th August,

The PSNI say officers have charged a 22 year old man with cultivating cannabis and dishonestly using electricity.

The man is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 5th September, for a first remand hearing.
